Happy New Year 2022 !!! New Year Resolution ???

Hello Friends,

Wishing all of you a very Happy and Safe New Year 2022 😊

I know that all of you were busy with Christmas and New year activities, so was I 😊 Today I am back after having a great time with my family at my hometown. Hope you also enjoyed with your family and friends...

My first post for 2022 will be related to a bit touchy topic “Superstitions” … With this post i believe that i can bring a start to the change by at least igniting a thought in your mind..

Some customs that people at my place believed intentionally or unintentionally … Even though I was very lucky that it was not observed in my family meticulously (My mother didn’t have time to focus on all these practices while running behind to take care of us alone 😀 As I mentioned in one of my posts our father was working outside to set us a strong base and secure our future so every responsibility was on my mother) , but we also have come across some circumstances when this was said to us by our relatives or friends.

 Superstitions are irrational ideas that rule our human mind keeping us from thinking out loud and without barriers. They control the human mind when you lack self-confidence.

 Here are some superstitious beliefs experienced/heard during all these years of my life. I know some of you will be able to relate to this…

1.Dont call from behind while someone is heading somewhere as it was considered as a bad omen. Reason is that if you do so, the task for which you are heading up will not happen well😁

2. Don’t swing your legs as its harmful for your parents

3. Girls should not sit with their legs crossed or in a calf resting position😀

4. During the monthly period time girls/women should not enter through the front door of the house, eat in separate plates, sleep in different room specifically designed for this 😓, can’t touch plants, cannot take water from the well, can’t do pooja nor visit temple (which is being followed still) etc.😖

5. Girls are born to do household work and boys for earing money to run the family  

6. You need a boy child to take care of you while you become aged (I used to get irritated hearing this as we are three girls and our parents have given us enough exposure and education that we can take care of them with god’s grace🙏)

 List goes on…

This year 2022, I feel the need that these irrational beliefs should be shown an ending that it never returns and opens a new life to all those people who are still under the pressure of these man-made traditions which masks the beauty of this world. The experiences, exposure and education you get during your childhood stays with you forever.

 Superstitious belief rules you when you lack self-confidence, and it is something that we all need to defeat. I have heard that even extremely successful people rely on superstitions, and it is truly human!!! Superstitions are no harm when Everything has a limit and once the limit is crossed then it chokes you.

 We should make the path brighter for our upcoming generations.

 For every child to be a Creator, there should be an open-minded parent behind them. We Are Who We Are, and we need to accept it!!!

Don’t impose anything on anybody based on the categorizations made by human!!!
